Southend Borough Council are holding a few pop-up vaccine clinics during half term, for children 12yrs +.
Thorpedene is hosting a fun-filled Dress to Express Day to support Children's Mental Health Week.
The idea is simple – students, staff and families use colourful clothing and unique accessories to express how they're feeling on Friday 11th February and make a suggested 50p donation for the mental health charity "Place2Be".
We are pleased to announce that we raised £349.39 for the Poppy Appeal.
Thank you all for your generosity in supporting the Royal British Legion.

Individual child photos were taken at the end of the summer term, these are available to purchase as a digital print at a cost of £2 per child.
Parents/carers need to complete the order form on the school app to request the photos and make payment via ParentMail.
Orders will close on 16th September and individual photos will be emailed out the week commencing 20th September.
Only orders that have been paid for will be emailed.
Unfortunately the only photos we are able to provide are individual photos for the last academic year.
We are hoping to return to our normal schedule of class and individual photos this academic year.
Thank you for your understanding.
From 7th July 2021 our new online payment system for all payments will go live. For full details on how to use please read the letter below.
For FQAs please click below.
This will be the new payment system for all payments from 1st September 2021 and therefore parents/carers will no longer be able to pay using cash or card at the School Office.
As Year 6 students will soon be moving onto secondary school and, their parents, carers and guardians will currently be considering how their child is going to travel to their new school. With this in mind, Arriva wants to make sure that they have the correct ticket information on the most cost effective way of getting their child to school, if they are using Arriva’s services.
